A stunning luxurious scarf is made with twill silk and finished with hand-rolled edges. The illustration features the jewels thought to have been worn by Helen of Troy. This claim was made In 1873 by Heinrich Schliemann, who found a cache of gold and jewellery during his excavations at Troy.

Helen of Sparta was the Queen of Laconia, by marriage to King Menelaus. Helen was considered the most beautiful woman in the world in Greek mythology. Her abduction by Paris, Prince of Troy, brought about the Trojan War.
